Tip Leads to Arrest
On 3-16-21 the Waterloo Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers asked for the public’s help reference a shooting in the 300 Block of W 4th Street. Thanks to a tip the suspect was identified as Donald Lee Nix JR DOB 5-19-97. On 8-18-21 Nix was charged with Carrying Weapons and Reckless Use of a Firearm.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent.
