On 12-20-23 the Cedar Falls Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers asked for the public’s help reference a theft investigation. After receiving numerous tips the Cedar Falls Police Department issued a warrant for Austin McGrane DOB 2-16-91, charging him with Theft in the 5th Degree. On 4-13-24 McGrane turned himself in at the Black Hawk County Jail reference this warrant as well as a Failure to Appear warrant.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent.
